Azores Airlines launched a promotion on Friday for trips between Madeira and the Azores. Return tickets start at 79 euros.
Which Routes Are Included
The offer covers flights from Funchal to two Azorean islands. These are São Miguel, landing in Ponta Delgada, and Terceira, landing in Lajes.
The price is valid in both directions. Travellers can start their trip in Madeira or in the Azores.
When You Can Book and Fly
The campaign runs until 5 November, according to a press release from the SATA Group.
Tickets cover two travel periods. The first runs from 11 November to 16 December 2026. The second runs from 6 January to 16 March 2027.
That leaves out the Christmas and New Year weeks. Flights between 17 December and 5 January are not part of the offer.
Why the Airline Is Doing It
The airline wants to encourage more travel between the two archipelagos. It also wants to give people more chances to move between the islands in the quieter months, when demand is lower.
Bookings are open through the SATA Group's sales channels and through travel agencies. The report does not say how many seats are available at 79 euros.
