Fatal Accident Reported on Tuesday Afternoon
A man between 40 and 50 years old died on Tuesday afternoon after an accident at the construction site of the new Central and University Hospital of Madeira. The alert was given at 15:03, and emergency services were quickly sent to the location.
Firefighters from the Sapadores do Funchal and a Rapid Intervention Medical Team (EMIR) tried to provide help, but the worker did not survive his injuries. The death was confirmed at the scene by the regional health delegate.
