Drive-in Cinema Returns to Madeira Shopping

Free Outdoor Cinema Experience from September 9 to 13

From September 9 to 13, MadeiraShopping’s parking lot will once again transform into an outdoor drive-in cinema. The seventh edition of the event, Drive-in: Cinema ao Volante, offers a unique opportunity to enjoy films from the comfort of your car. Screenings will take place at 20:30h. in the covered parking area on Level 2. Attendees can also enjoy restaurant services, ensuring snacks are available during each film.

A Diverse Film Lineup for All Audiences

The event will showcase five films over five days, starting Monday, September 9, with the action-thriller Poker Face, featuring stars like RZA, Liam Hemsworth, and Russell Crowe. The lineup continues on Tuesday with Anatomy of a Fall, a gripping drama that keeps viewers guessing until the end. Wednesday highlights Portuguese cinema with César Mourão’s romantic comedy Podia ter Esperado por Agosto. The adrenaline ramps up Thursday with 9 Bullets, a high-stakes thriller starring Lena Headey and Sam Worthington, and the event concludes on Friday with the French comedy OH LÁ LÁ!

No Reservations Required, Open-Air Seating Available

While the event is primarily a drive-in experience, MadeiraShopping will also provide a seating area with 100 chairs for those who prefer to watch the films outside their cars. No reservations are required for the screenings, but capacity is limited, and seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
