Medical Emergency Occurs Inside Bus in Santo António

As reported by Diário de Notícias Madeira, man around 50 years old suffered a cardiac arrest on Monday inside a public bus in the Santo António area of Funchal.

According to another passenger on the same trip, the driver stopped the bus and immediately began resuscitation efforts before emergency services arrived.

Emergency Services Take Over at the Scene

Firefighters from the Funchal Municipal Fire Brigade and a Rapid Medical Intervention Team (EMIR) arrived shortly after. They continued the resuscitation and transported the man to the hospital with vital signs.
