Garajau Cable Car Spray-Painted as Individuals Climbed the Fence in the Night
The Garajau cable car, located on the south coast of Madeira, was vandalized during the night, despite the site being closed and access restricted. According to local reports, individuals climbed over the fencing to reach the top station and spray paint on a cabin that was parked there.
Police Called to the Scene
The PolĂcia de Segurança PĂşblica (PSP) was alerted early this morning and sent officers to the site. Jornal da Madeira confirmed that the police were present to inspect the damage and begin an investigation.
