Model Georgina Rodríguez has announced her engagement to Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo. On Instagram, the 31-year-old posted a photo showing their hands on a white bedspread, with a large oval-shaped diamond ring on her finger. She wrote: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives” Within hours, the post received more than four million likes.
A Relationship in the Public Eye
Ronaldo, 40, and Rodríguez made their relationship public in early 2017. Their first official appearance together was at the Best Fifa Football Awards in Zurich in January that year. In May 2017, they confirmed the relationship on Instagram. Rodríguez has previously spoken about their first meeting in a Gucci store, which she shared in her Netflix series “I am Georgina.”
Family and Shared History
In June 2017, the couple announced the birth of twins via a surrogate. In November of the same year, they welcomed their daughter Alana. Today, they are raising four children together, along with Ronaldo’s 15-year-old son Cristiano Jr. from a previous relationship, whose mother’s identity has not been made public.
