Donate Clothes in Funchal
Take a moment to go through your wardrobe and gather the items you no longer wear. Instead of letting them sit unused, donate them and let someone else enjoy them. Here are a few local stores where you can drop off your donations in Funchal.
Botão Solidário – Loja Social
The Botão Solidário – Loja Social on Rua das Pretas, a social store project by Sociohabitafunchal, has been fully renovated and was reopened on April 1, 2024. The initiative, started in 2013, aims to support underprivileged families living in municipal housing in Funchal by providing donated household items and clothing, some of which are recycled or repaired.
The project has two stores:
Botão Solidário Vintage
Now remodeled, this store focuses on circular economy and reuse, offering second-hand clothes and shoes at low prices or by donation to the general public. Proceeds go towards supporting social inclusion projects for children and youth in municipal housing. It also offers a party clothing rental service.
