22-Year-Old Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Expressway

Accident on Road Between Ribeira Brava and São Vicente

A 22-year-old man died Yesterday night following a motorcycle accident on the expressway connecting Ribeira Brava to São Vicente, in Madeira. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after the crash was reported.

Emergency Teams Deployed to the Scene

The Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Fire Brigade sent three responders to assist at the location. The young man was then transported to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital in Funchal, where doctors confirmed that the victim had not survived his injuries.
