IPMA Issues Yellow Weather Warning
The Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA) has issued a yellow weather warning for the southern coast of Madeira, alerting residents of high temperatures in the upcoming days. The advisory comes as the region braces for persistently elevated maximum temperatures over the coming days.
The warning will be in effect from 9am on tomorrow until 6pm on Friday, October 4, according to the IPMA. Authorities ask residents and visitors in the area to take precautions, particularly in outdoor activities, as the hot weather persists.
