First Members of Private Rescue Team to Arrive Tomorrow, Sister Confirms
Olga Holewińska, Igor’s sister, told Diário de Notícias Madeira that the first people start arriving tomorrow and the rest possibly on Saturday. The private team is expected to join the ongoing official search efforts as soon as they arrive.
Friends Plan Additional Drone Team and Volunteers to Assist in Search Operations
The group of friends also intends to hire another team of drones to locate Igor. They said they feel “desperate” because they have no information about his whereabouts and are seeking every available resource to find him. A public appeal on social media by Igor’s sister has asked volunteers with a drone and a camera or ideally thermal imaging to help with the rescue efforts.
Drone Operators needed, can you help?
We are looking for drone operators - urgent help needed in the search for IgorIgor went missing on November 2nd (Sunday) in the area of Levada dos Tornos / PR9 / near Pico Ruivo.
Search efforts are ongoing, but so far he has not been found.
We are currently looking for people on Madeira who have drones and could help scan the area from above.
Equipment with thermal imaging would be especially helpful, but any drone with a good camera can make a difference.
The police have been informed that our drones may operate in the search area.

After contacting us, we will provide more details about the search areas and coordination.
