New Direct Route from Copenhagen for the Winter Season
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), the joint airline of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, has announced new winter routes for the 2025–26 season. Among them is a new connection to Madeira. The direct flights will depart from SAS’s main hub in Copenhagen.
Summer is just around the corner - but it’s never too early to dream of winter escapes. For the winter season of 2025-26, we're adding six new routes from our main hub in Copenhagen: Vienna, Tel Aviv, Marrakech, Madeira, Fuerteventura, and Kittilä.

SAS Highlights Nearly 80 Years of Service
SAS was founded on August 1, 1946, and is approaching its 79th anniversary. Today, with a fleet size of around 135 aircraft, the airline operates flights to around 150 destinations. With the addition of these new winter routes, SAS continues to develop its network and keep up with the changing interests of travelers.
