Challenging Landing Captured on Video

The footage features an Airbus A320 from the Estonian airline Marabu arriving from Nuremberg, Germany.

As confirmed by Diário de Notícias da Madeira the plane faced strong crosswinds near Santa Catarina as it came in to land. Despite the tough conditions, the aircraft landed safely at 17:48 today, June 30.
Wind Causes Flight Cancellations and Diversions
Strong winds around the island have affected flight schedules at Madeira Airport. By 18:30 today, four flights had been canceled, including both arrivals and departures. Additionally, four flights were diverted to another nearby airport, Porto Santo. This weather situation is causing interruptions in normal airport operations.
Airport Authorities Advise Passengers to Check Flights
ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, the company managing Madeira Airport, advises all travelers to confirm the status of their flights before going to the airport. Due to the bad weather, flight times and availability may change unexpectedly. Passengers are urged to stay informed to avoid unnecessary travel.
